The Fabulous Fox welcomes back Johnny Mathis as Johnny celebrates the holiday season with an evening of his classic hits plus Christmas favorites. The show features Johnny center stage with a full orchestra performing “Chances Are”, “It’s Not For Me To Say”, “Misty” and many more.
Johnny Mathis’ career accomplishments are numerous and varied. He holds many records and has set many precedents in the music industry. To date he has recorded over 100 albums with sales in excess of 180 million. More than 60 of his albums have been certified gold and/or platinum. "Johnny's Greatest Hits" (1958) remained on Billboard's pop album charts for 490 weeks (almost ten years) and went on to become one of the most popular albums of all time. 2010 is a special year for Johnny as it marks his first foray into classic country music. Vince Gill provides beautiful background vocals for “Loving Arms” and Alison Krauss is wonderful as she sings with Johnny on “Let It Be Me”. The as of yet untitled CD will be available later this year. |
