Curtain Call Lounge Manager

Description:

The Curtain Call Manager assumes primary responsibility for hiring and training associates for the restaurant, overseeing and managing all facets of Curtain Call Lounge, front of the house, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This is a full time salary position which reports to the Concession and Beverage Director.

Primary Responsibilities of the Curtain Call Lounge Manager include:

  • Manages the hiring process of bussers, host/hostesses, food runners, servers, and bartenders.
  • Trains and creates schedules for all Curtain Call associates.
  • Evaluates staff performance and authorizes payroll.
  • Ensures the restaurant is consistently clean and prepared for the next service.
  • Regularly updates menus as needed, crafting specialty cocktails and signage for each show.
  • Maintains updates to the Point of Sales system to accurately reflect changes, including price modifications.
  • Ensures daily communication with the Curtain Call Lounge chef to incorporate specials into the Point of Sales system and review them with the front-of-house staff.
  • Implements front-end policies and procedures.
  • Manages product orders to maintain adequate stock levels while ensuring proper rotation to minimize waste.
  • Conducts and submits a monthly inventory by the 10th of each month.
  • Executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and relevant laws.
  • Managing the guest experience, ensuring it is fabulous.
  • Manages guest and associate complaints, effectively resolving issues.
  • Collects, settles and drops all server and bartender financial transactions at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year bartending experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of restaurant/bar management experience.
  • Missouri SMART server certified.
  • Knowledge of current Mixology trends.
