Housekeeper
Description:
The Housekeeper is primarily responsible for keeping the property in clean and orderly condition. Part/Full time Hourly. Reports to Housekeeping Manager in Maintenance department.
Primary Responsibilities of the Housekeeper include:
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office spaces.
- Empties tenants' trash and garbage containers.
- Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
- Cleans office and other parts of the theatre.
- Completes special projects like carpet cleaning, stripping, and waxing the floors.
- Maintains cleanliness of the outside perimeter of the theatre.
- Cleans window glass of the theatre.
- Cleans and maintains the garage which will consist of emptying trash cans, sweeping all floors, cleaning stairwells, trimming bushes, grass mowing, and cleaning the parking lots.
Qualifications
Applicants must have these qualifications and skills:
- Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
- Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
Education and Experience Required:
- Prior cleaning experience.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
- References of past experience required.
